Tami recording new CD - Tami Michelle has completed ten basic tracks for a new CD recorded live in studio with jazz players. The album contains a dozen Tami Michelle originals, featuring Tami on guitar and vocals, Joe Correro on drums, Paul Gormley on stand-up bass, Doc Doolittle on alto sax, and special guest guitarists Barry Zweig, Ron Anthony, and Bob Felten. Joe Correro, the drummer for Paul Revere and the Raiders in the late 60's and 70's, has played on hundreds of jazz, rock, and pop albums over the years, including albums by Al Jarreau and Joao Gilberto. Paul Gormley has played and recorded with numerous jazz greats over the years, including: Woody Herman, Vido Musso, Joe Williams, Dick Cary, Mundell Lowe, Gene Estes and Anita O'Day. Doc Doolittle has spent most of his career accompanying singers of many different styles such as Jackie Wilson and Natalie Cole. Barry Zweig is one of the most highly respected jazz guitarists on the LA music scene. He has played for, and/or recorded with Peggy Lee, Natalie Cole, and many others. The album was recorded at Dennis Moody Studio in L.A. - engineered by Dennis Moody. Dennis owns his own studio and mixes CD's, film scores, concert sound, musicals and shows. He has won two Grammy Participitaion awards and several gold records.
